I don't see why he'd go elsewhere. He'll be a regular starter for us - would he at Spurs or Arsenal? At this stage of his career he'll want to play in big games, not sit on the bench

Barry can easily play till hes 35/36; physically fit, looks after himself, his game his about reading whats going on rather than be being box to box.

He's a must, even at 33.

Great stats with Barry in the side. Whats not been taken into account from WhoScored without Barry though, is that there was also no Lukaku and McCarthy for a few of them games.

33 and a half when the season kicks off.

He did well for us last year but if we miss out on him it's not a massive loss. He would only be a first team player for another year or so anyway and would need to be replaced.

I'm more interested in who Martinez has got lined up for us in the long term to be honest.
