Be nice if he signs, I'm not stressing over getting a 33 year old midfielder, unless he is pirlo, which he ain't
He was brilliant mate. Integral. Class and composure and a sorely needed calming influence in the big games, especially away from home. Maybe next yesr we'll be in a better position to do without, but not this one. We really need him

I don't see why he'd go elsewhere. He'll be a regular starter for us - would he at Spurs or Arsenal? At this stage of his career he'll want to play in big games, not sit on the bench

On the salary hed want its not worth more than a one year deal. Cant afford another kevin campbell salary on someone whose legs may go anytime.

If he stays with us - RM will play him most games - Spurs might, if he went there - because he is that good - not sure what he would do at Arsenal.

One one year only.

Second year could well be stuck with a big salary on a player offering little.

Id rather go all out for Fellaini, would be amazing to have him back next to McCarthy with Barkley in front of them. Would be a truely world class midfield.

I'd certainly be willing to go up to £60/£65k if you consider £75k our 'star player' wage bracket.

Fellaini doesnt come close to barry, especially in our new system

Would love him back. Think he would be looking for a few years, so its something the club certainly have to look at, to make sure both parties get a good deal.

Great stats with Barry in the side. Whats not been taken into account from WhoScored without Barry though, is that there was also no Lukaku and McCarthy for a few of them games.

33 and a half when the season kicks off.

He did well for us last year but if we miss out on him it's not a massive loss. He would only be a first team player for another year or so anyway and would need to be replaced.

I'm more interested in who Martinez has got lined up for us in the long term to be honest.

The most important piece of business this summer for me - i wouldnt be that bothered if we did nothing else but signed Barry.

He is that important to us.

i'd be a bit pissed if we bought just barry and went into a european season with just kone and naismith as strikers like
