He was poor yesterday but that's harsh. He's been one of our best players this season IMO.No coincidence that we won our last 2 games without Barry since his injury - and then lost yesterday. Slow and cumbersome badly at fault for setting Spurs on their way for their second I think he might be gone at the game. At a minimum he needs McCarthy around him.
thought he's looked off the pace all season TBF.He looked very cumbersome...came back too soon from injury?...it looked like it.
It was a perfectly clean tackle. Clever work by Kane. Inexcusable by Barry to let that happen.I know Kane won the ball clean, but it was a tackle from behind. Surely the ref shouldn't have let them carry on?
But he came right through the back of Barry. I'm not disputing that he took the ball cleanly, but I thought tackles from behind were outlawed, irrespective of how the ball is taken? It was a perfectly clean tackle. Clever work by Kane. Inexcusable by Barry to let that happen.
It was in this game last season where Barry's dithering allowed Spurs to take the quick free kick and score the winner.
Maybe in future let's avoid playing Barry at the Lane.

I thought the same. The rule, that's been around since 1998, is that all tackles from behind are outlawed. Most refs will give a foul regardless of how clean the ball was won. We were unlucky but didn't do enough to swing the pendulum back our way unfortunately. But he came right through the back of Barry.
