He was.He was immense today for us!
You need to go in search of a clue mateHas been poor this season apart from 30 minute spells against Arsenal and Wolfsburg. Simple conclusion is though that you can't expect a 33 year old centre mid to keep the same levels for 38 games a season. But yet again, just like we did with Neville we're putting one in one of the most crucial positions in the team. When he's not 100% sharp he's too slow and his passing is not penetrative enough. Cupled with McCarthy you don't get enough creativity out of midfield if Barkley is not playing. I would go with a diamond of Gibson then McCarthy and Besic, then Barkey. Pace power, creativity and graft.
Yes Besic is going to get plenty of games and will do a good job, not sure about Gibson apart from being injuryGibson and Besic will be key to us staying fresh in the centre this season. Treat the former with kid gloves to save his glass knees and ease the latter in to adjust to the Premier League and (long term injuries aside) we look pretty decent in that area.
Belter of a pass on him though mate and fantastic vision.Yes Besic is going to get plenty of games and will do a good job, not sure about Gibson apart from being injury
prone ,don't think he is fast enough .
yep, good to see jimmy mac approaching his best form again too.Arguably MOTM; certainly pushing Eto'o. Outstanding from GarBar.

Barry was immense. Am I right in thinking he's played every game so far this season?
