Monaco in Ligue 1...Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexham, Newport County etc. all play in England...There are examples of this already but truthfully I'd rather see a European Super League and leave the National leagues to focus on domestic competition

A bit sh1t if you go to the games.

Wales and England have been joined together for over 600 years. Wales has a population less than 3 million so its understandable plus for historic reasons these teams play in the english leagues. They were invited to join the Welsh leagues in 1992 but refused.

Scotland is more relatively recent at 300 years.

Super leagues are a nonsense. Destory our historic competitions to favour teams like man united.

No offense. Just my views.

...and I have to agree. Super leagues are an extension of the bull**** 'global village' agenda. **** that, it only enriches further the rich.

I sort of understand where you are coming from. Apart from 4-5 games a year La Liga is a pile of dung to watch. I've had a go on the tele and felt felt like blowtorching my own eye balls.

It makes sense that the bigger European teams would want to join a super league. They possibly believe that it would give them a similar global audience to compete with the Premiership. I reckon it makes them sick that our uncultured, inferior brand of football gets so much attention and money.

Any English team would be mad to jump ship, they are part of the greatest money train soccer has ever seen.

Its a wonderful idea for the corporates though, ey, a Super League! How absolutely glamorous! Look at them run, look at them shoot, son would you like the Dortmund or Bayern kit this year? No go with Dortmund, the Bayern kit this year looks quite similar to the Arsenal one I bought you last season. Love you son. Love you soccer.

if i remember rightly moyes played pienaar in cm for a spell whilst we had injuries and he was a revellation.

maybemartinez will put pienaar in cm and use delefeu on the wing for fulham

That makes alot of sense to me, pienaar never really seemed like a wing to me, i think a cm position would be great for him and for the team.

My interest in a super league stems more from the corruption in the Spanish game - there is quality, even with the small clubs...But between the RFEF & the unbalanced revenue sharing, it's minnows vs sharks for the most part

Most things in Spain are tilted in favor of the Castilla

I see the money train forcing a Super League eventually, just an opinion of course - at the current rate anyway

Well obviously- there is no real point to the Spanish domestic league at the moment. But I don't think a European Super League is the answer to that, partly because its just so unlikely that the Premier League will break at any given point.
The solution is quite easy really- sort out your own league and share the revenue fairly. Just make it more competitive. The answer isn't super Petro-league starring Barcaqatarlona PSG and Zenit St Petersberg. Super League indeed. You think the Spanish game is corrupt? Then your solution is most definitely not the Gazprom Euro Soccer Fest.

Beautiful mate...you have hit the parodied nail on the head.

Revenue sharing wouldn't be enough to root out the corruption in Spain, corruption that will not cede that money over very easily anyway - it's deep within the system

Money is killing the game, no doubt, and while a Super League seems like merely more of the same I think it'd at least be more competitive that would allow for less favorites - this is theoretical, of course

sorry mate but I have to disagree. The English premier League is one of the the most competitive competitions in the world. Let Spain sort its own Madrfid v Barcelona competition out
