Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Good luck to the lad, hope we meet him n the CL in not to distant future, as I belive both of us are destined for it.

...God speed Gerard...
...top young player who contributed to what has been a great season for us Evertonians. But you know what?...things are on the up and up. As I posted when RM was appointed : "Everton are on the cusp of something....something wonderful"...season 2013/14 was a mere first step to that end.

Fare thee well, gone away.
There's nothing left to say.
Except to say adieu,
To your shirt as blue,
As the water in the bay.
The calling of the Azulgranas,
Spanish wine from far away.
I'm a free-born man of Catalon-I.A.

I'd gladly have him back on loan with the condition we ban @FCBarça from every Everton forum. The bad glory hunting ted who will start supporting the country who is winning the world cup final with one minute to go.

I can imagine his bedroom to be half Barca and half Brazil colours.

Surprised you'd notice anything past the piles of used tissues.

I am glad to have seen him play for everton because one day he will be up there with the best in the world

Farewell Gerard - I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.

Classy that. Well in Gerry

This is a proper melt fest. If we are absolutely honest about him he had like five good games.

Sorry mate, I'm obviously with the melts here. He's a really talented lad, with the accent on lad. I'd have loved him to stay another season to see if he could grow up a bit more on the field but credit where it's due, I believe he "Got Us" and sometimes that's as important as how many good games someone had.

You obviously are. People are fawning over him like he was some sort of revelation, in truth he was pretty poor, flashes of brilliance yes, potential to be up there with the best of them? perhaps, i'm not as convinced as others but the lad will certainly make a name for him self in the same way the likes of Nedved did.

I am only commenting on how he did this season, and apart from 5-6 games he was pretty damn poor. His decision making is one of the worst things i've seen in my life and his crossing wasn't the best, but like i said he is young and will improve.

I don't think he 'got us' as you are making out he did, he enjoyed being given a chance and wanted to try and prove himself in the Premier league but he was never 'one of us'. Even strac got us more than he did, but you wouldn't keep him around just because he got us would you?
