Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Did he have as much fanfare as Deulofeu?

Always got the impression that Geri was expected to be the next "Messi" like quality to come out of their academy but could be wrong on that.

Yeah true I don't think he did, plus Bojan played (and got an assist) in an El Classico. 5-0 win I think.

Hoping Bojan recovers OK from his ACL, even with the advances in medicine always worry it will take something away from a player and he was looking so good just prior to the injury.

Bojan had much more hype than Deulofeu.

If Barca do sell him, they will 99% want a buy back clause, but thats okay with me, we would make a decent profit.

Not accurate at all...Bojan's hype stemmed from 2 things - his father & his goal tally from youth levels...In every other way he had far inferior talent to Deulofeu...Lacked the pace, aggression, confidence or dribbling of Gerard

I think we hyped an off-the-cuff remark to the point of convincing ourselves we've either got the next Messi or the next C Ronaldo.

Del's not that, but he would still be very useful in our team. I miss his erratic enthusiasm.
