Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Haven't seen no one else apart from the echo report this so I also think it is probably pie in the sky.

No deals will be done for Del boy before he returns to Barca for Pre season I reckon for them to evaluate him.
He's been getting bad press over there, he wasn't rated after the last preseason and hasn't done anything since, he's stated he doesn't want to go out on loan again. If he's not getting any minutes at Sevilla how's he going to get any minutes at Barca who have the best attack in football?

He's going to have to have the most amazing pre season ever to win Enrique and the rest of the staff over. My only worry is if they sell Pedro, they must be planning on giving one of the kids his spots, there's several kids at their club who could step up and with Barca B being relegated they may prefer give a couple of the youngsters a bit more of run in the first team rather than play two divisions under the La Liga. If Del hands in a transfer request I really can't see anyone standing in his way other than potentially wanting a buy-back clause.

Barca confirmed on their official twitter account last week that Deulofeu will not be playing for Barcelona next season.
Whether that means he will be sold/loaned out or playing for Barca B, I guess only time will tell.

Just checking out on transfermarkt, how accurate is this site with values ? Hopefully Barca will accept yearly instalments , which would enable us to strengthen else where too.

In all honesty it's so hard to guess exactly what Del's asking price would be, I honestly think it could range from 8-14m, surely after his last season they can't ask for more than that, he's 21 to now so it's not like he's a raw 18 year old now who you'd pay for just their potential.

There's so many factors that the price would come down to, if there's a buy back clause, how much potential add ons there is, if there's a high percentage of future transfer fees to be returned. Even wether Barca are happy to let him go or would like him to stay will really affect his price. In all honesty I think the negotiations for a transfer fee could be quite hard if Barca are asking for a high fee, we're clearly keen and I can't see Del having any objections of coming back, the balls fully in Barca's court.
