Cleverley I think is there because of his adaptability, he can play so many positions. centre, behind the striker and left right flank. I think we will see him in many positions rather then a static one, even during games. I think he's tempted by three at the back, wing backs, three in the centre and three up front he played it at Wigan at times and I think it's interesting he blooded Galloway on the left side. It's hard to know but I think Cleverley is a bit of a key to overall flexibility within systems.

Martinez played three at the back in his last season at Wigan, including the FA Cup run.

I think we'd need three experienced centre backs, plus a reserve. Younger players could step in for shorter periods. So we'd need to sign two centre backs, say Evans and Dann, to replace Distin and Alcaraz.

I think the problem over signing Lennon is the size of his wages at Tottenham.
