There's a reason he never got a look in at Sevilla and there is a reason Bobby keeps taking him out the team. Has all the raw ability in the world, exciting to watch, but he's either fantastic, or crap. Top teams don't bother with that risk, they go for consistency.
Will be a top player when/if he finds a consistent level.
You could say the same about Rom.....he has as many stinkers as great games.
Ditto Barkley......ditto Stones.
Del should br thriving here.....if we had a manager could organise a defence without expecting our most creative player to spend half his time "tracking back" then he might recapture the sparkle he showed earlier this season.
At the moment though he us caught up in the same general malaise which us afflicting all our players.
But at least he carried the game to them yesterday.
