Ghosts

Science says no. Until there is evidence, or a supposed hypothesis to uphold the idea of ghosts, I don't believe.

If I ever see one, I'd be more inclined to put it down to a mind aberration than proof to the contrary. If one cooked my tea or bought me a pint, THEN we're talking.

No I don't and much like god if I was presented with evidence of their existence I would have reassess everything i've ever thought about life. I have genuinely had an out of body experience before though and I can't reconsile that with my belief system.

I haven't seen one but my mum is certain she has seen her gran as a ghost. I don't believe her.

Why not ? Is your Gran still alive ?

Ghosts.
  • Do you believe in them?
  • Have you ever seen one?

  • No (or maybe yes)
  • Yes (or maybe no)
Last November I went to put something away in the garden shed about 12.30 AM.
One side of the garden is bounded by a 6' fence with parkland on the other side. As I got near the bottom of the garden I just got that feeling when you 'sense' that somebody is looking at you. When I turned towards the fence I saw the head and shoulders of a young girl (about 5 or 6 yrs old) just staring at me. As you can imagine I nearly crapped myself. She then started to move along parallel to the fence, turning her head as she moved and never taking her gaze off me. She then smiled, waved and 'disappeared'
Logic tells me that it must have been a young girl sat on her dads shoulders walking past, but having got over the initial shock I went out to look. There was no sign of anybody about and no way that they would have been able to get out of sight in the 10 or 15 seconds it took me to get out.
As I said, the ONLY logical explanation that I can think of is that it was a girl on somebody's shoulders. The way she moved however is against this as she sort of 'glided' (not even a slight up and down movement that you would expect from walking) There was also no sound of footsteps.
I KNOW that I saw her quite clearly, but I can't explain it.

BTW @GrandOldTeam I stayed on the 5th floor at the Adelphi last month. I didn't see anything strange, but thank God I hadn't heard about your experiences before I went.

One of my mates had a crazy experience when he was younger, him and all his family came running out the house saying their house was being wrecked by their grandads ghost, pictures flying across the room and all sorts, half the street came out to see what the commotion was.

I have no idea what came of it, think they just went back in and nothing more was said of it, that was a bit weird.
They were doing it to get a move from the council.

Could it be like deja vu where your mind is sure you've seen something before because of accidentally stimulating a certain part of your brain or something? (Sparing you be exact details because I don't know them)

So maybe could you have not seen it at that time but dreamt it and your brain has "filed" it in the wrong place?

I think most people who see ghosts are telling what they think is the truth, but I reckon their minds are playing tricks on them.

I've had an "experience" myself but I blame it on fear and dreams.
