Moaning gits get to macdonalds and get a happy meal, chico when you get up in the morning to clean your teeth do you look in the mirror and say who the feck you looking at?
Sorry to complain, but I feel there’s a time and a place for such aggression. It’s the GOT Arena and it’s right now! Fight! Fight! Fight!

The Hendrix ramble was one of those moments that you wanted the earth to open up and swallow you when you heard it. Me toes were curling.

But the spectacle wasn't the melodiousness of his voice, it was that he was there at all belting out bangers for 2.5 hours and still able to spellbind an audience...for the most part.

They were probably thinking surely after the next song that security will come to take this old guy back to the oap home

John Lennon would have swerved that flag waving.

As much as we all love him, the mop top Toffee has always chummied up to the Establishment.

In that song he played last night - the one he wrote after John's death - he wonders aloud what John would have said to him now...I think he'd have said "You're on the wrong side, Paul. I protested against governments and wars, you're taking their instructions and glorifying war".

Just my take on it anyway.
I can confirm this is much more accurate. Thank you for sharing this correction of Lennon posthumously singing at Glastonbury my friend. Some on the thread, the hype cultists, clearly have their head buried in the sand.

I thought the weakest part of the show were his monologues between songs. I mean, going on about wah-wah pedals...it was turning into a youtube self help video for musos.

What would Ringo do?

There's some things that didn't work last night. The 'duet' with John Lennon being one of them. I thought it was a bit crass, tbh.
