My wifes arl fella use to drive the Beatles round in a Bedford van in the early days .They would scribble lyrics on the inside of the van and just generally doodle on it.
The van was eventually sold for scrap, can you imagine how much that van would have been worth if it had been kept
Hard to say mate, what condition was the bodywork in?

What would Ringo do?
I imagine it would be something like his appearance on Parkinson in the 2000’s.
Promoting a new album called ‘Liverpool 8’ , the cover of which had him standing atop St. George’s Hall and when asked by Parkinson if he would ever “move back” to Liverpool, he grimaced and said “God no”

Phoney little blert. Least talented of the 4 by a mile, but you know he’ll be the last one left alive, lording it up.

He was good in Thomas the Tank Engine though.

John Lennon would have swerved that flag waving.

As much as we all love him, the mop top Toffee has always chummied up to the Establishment.

In that song he played last night - the one he wrote after John's death - he wonders aloud what John would have said to him now...I think he'd have said "You're on the wrong side, Paul. I protested against governments and wars, you're taking their instructions and glorifying war".

Just my take on it anyway.

…..lovely song was that, I hadn’t heard it before. Perhaps McCartney thinks waving a Ukraine flag is an ante-war message. They were invaded.

Regardless, it was a terrific performance. Dave Grohl supporting him singing ‘I saw her standing there’, which he says is the best song he’s ever written.

Witnessing greatness, a bit emotional at times.

I’m going to the Foo Fighters tribute in September, I hope they can recreate that !
