I just find it amazing that he doesn't ask for a 2nd pair of eyes from his caddie, just to see if he sees the same line.
Yeah looking like it could be an extremely dull end of the tournament but thats a credit to Harman
Those strokes on 17 and 18 by Rory were just so bad, just straight right off the putter. It must so frustrating when the rest of your gane is that good.
I think a better caddie would do wonders for his game. A strong minded caddie who can gee Rory up when he gets down, or who can be more proactive than simply handing him his clubs and replacing divots would definitely be a required change.
Not watching but what is fleetwood up to? Just not putting them away or not good enough off the tee?

Bit of both, really. He's not playing well at all, think he's the only player in the top 20 who hasn't shot under par today.
Shame really as you need to go quite abit down the leaderboard to see anyone who hasn’t shot under par today. Just Tommy.
I was watching spieth before and he was missing putts that you would expect him to make.
Be boring tomorrow if the leader is 6 clear.

Friend of mine knows Rory, and told me he has tried everything. I asked him his opinion, and he shrugged, and responded with "That is why multiple major winners are quite rare".

He needs to start putting a bit of fire in his game, because whenever he's been in a last group, he doesn't strike that fear into the opponent like some golfers do. He seems to suffer from just having really ordinary rounds right at key moments when it needs him to have a real quality round.
He had an opportunity early to put pressure on when Harman started 2 over after 3, but he hasn't played quite well enough since then. Too many tentative putts in the front 9.
I dont see anyone getting close to Harman unless he has an absolute shocker tomorrow. The course is playing as easy today as it has all week.
It is crazy how bad his putting is, though. He should be at least -6 after that round today and he's missed a load of simple putts, did the same in the Open on the last day last year. It's all in his head as you can see that he can't let a missed putt go, he was shaking his head all the way round the back 9 there.
I think his caddie gives him some decent advice but 100% on the greens Rory just doesn't even ask his opinion and I think that's a huge mistake. A top caddie who has an eye on the greens is worth a couple of Putts a round minimum imo.
Yeah, I agree. It's almost like he's just thinking "Don't mess up" rather than "Let's attack the course to put pressure on Harman"
