Whats the bloke hes fighting like? Isnt bellew the holder of the main 2 belts now so surely he should be favourite?

Not a boxing fan but Bellew gets my support.

Bellew is currently 6/1 on sky bet just to win the fight.

Like I said I’d suggest it’s because he’s doing colour commentary or simply commentating , the rest of it is how he speaks . I think it’s like when you speak a foreign language , speak to someone from overseas or even speak to somebody from out of town your delivery changes . When I was away from home for a bit with non scousers my accent mellowed a little because you slow down the way to speak so they can understand you , when you’re with a load of scousers it flows a lot faster .

I think people can accuse bellew of a lot but faking his accent is a new one on me if I’m honest .

Agree with that, and that's what I do, if we're working with a load of wools I'll talk a bit slower partly out of courtesy but mainly because their thick heads can't process to many words at a time

I think the lad Bellew is fighting is the massive favourite at 1/7 to win.

The whole boxing heroes and stuff is something I could and have discussed at length before, it’s full of contractions . If you’re looking for wholesome clean living characters in boxing you’ll generally be there a while .

Off the top of my head but wasnt that his last 5 flights, stopped them all. Id say thats smashing them.

He’s not killing himself go make light heavy anymore , he lost a lot of punch power in that battle in my opinion and having stepped up we’ve seen what earned him the bomber nickname as an amateur. David Haye certainly rates his left hook and whatever else he can recognise power .

That’s what I mean , he could really bang as an amateur but light heavy was a struggle . In total transparency Though we have to say Flores was poor , Haye on his way down and took that injury in the first but still his power has absolutely improved . I’m hoping he can buzz usyk early and give him something to think about but I’m not convinced that’ll happen either .

He needs to get inside on Usky, rough him up and get him to engage. Easy for me to say ino!.

Usky likes to stay on the outside and sort of pity pats with his shots, albiet it with a bit of power but nothing to worry about too much, its the volume he throws which is the issue.

If Bellew get distrupt his rhythm, drag him into a fight and get him engaging hes got every chance. You dont hook with a hooker.

How well schooled Usky is though i think he will have some difficulty dragging him into it, but its been done before. Beredis dragged him into a dog fight.

I’ve heard a few say so it’s not like I’ve thought of it but mixing up the shots to head and body seemed to cause usyk some problems as you say disrupt him and make it awkward . Don’t let him fight his fight because if you do you’ll lose . To agree with you again usyk is a bit calzaghe ish with the nature of his shots but there are plenty of them coming .

Fella he is fighting is too draw to be fair. Beaten some of the best cruiser weights around (including World Champions) and I think the only boxer in the world to have all the belts in his division.

In that division only Hollyfield has unified the title. If he beats Bellew I imagine he is mixing it with any heavyweight bar Joshua as favourite.

Bellew has improved massively but this is a big step up.

I think that second paragraph is a big statement on Holyfield and Haye have won the heavyweight title after winning a cruiserweight title and it’s been around a long time . I do think if he beats bellew and steps up he’ll be in the reckoning but there are some decent heavyweights out there .

I do agree how tough it’ll be for bellew though .

Mate we all backed him first Haye fight and went crazy for the result as it just topped off the weekend . The second Haye fight I felt was easy money well easier at least as I couldn’t see Haye improving , whatever I think I feel I owe him at least a few bob on this one .
