I am sorry, even if it will be one of the most aften repeated sentences for a few weeks, it doesn't make it true.
When discussing new contracts lack of money in budget isn't such a big deal, bigger is to keep salaries under control, in a way which makes sense. So even if you would offer more to Arteta and Pienaar, Heitinga, Fellaini, Jagielka, etc... all would also want to have their contracts improved.
We offered Pienaar max what we could (in "it makes sense" category) and I believe, when we will persuade Arteta to stay, we will improve his contract also.

Of course it would be nice to have this 4 milions in budget, and I would prefer to keep Gosling, but I don't see this affecting our contract negotiatons.

Well its income that couldnt be relied bar this year, but if money came into the club its still counted as turnover - up the club really how they want to sepnd it.
 

How come theres nothing on the OS yet? Its on SS and the BBC, even his Wiki page has been changed. Seems we're always supposed to be the last ones to know.

Its still subject to appeal for the next 10 days (14 since last week).

So the club is probably weighing up legal options.

Hey mate, you could go to wiki, sign up for an account and edit his page to say he likes to sleep with mucky pigs if you wanted. Doesn't make it true. There is nothing on the OS yet as they don't have anything to say.

when we got Sigma Olomuc in the Europa qualifier I checked them on Wiki and it said "Tony Hibbert is a shoe..." amongst other comical information. I tried to send the link to a mate and within 5 minutes a mod had edited it back out of Wiki...

Not always true, not always false i suppose.

Yeah I know anyone can edit. I, being the bantersauraus rex that I am, changed Kym Valentine's wiki page (Libby off neighbours) to say she now plays in the AFL and has dabbled in the adult film industry. Hohoho. But usually if its untrue it gets taken off pretty quickly! I just think especially if its on the BBC in the news section as opposed to just rumours that it's true.
 
Its true. The BBC would not put stuff on the main site with a reporters name (Aimee Lewis) attributed to the article unless it was fact. Its not on the OS yet because the board have ****** up and are figuring out how to spin it.

Almost without exception the Everton os takes their time with news.
