He will be the next John Oster and disappear down the divisions and end up back at Plymouth.

Someone needs to give the lad a shake and tell him he might well be f*cking his career if he leaves now just cos he can't play centre mid, which he is not good enough to do anyway. He should look at Anichebe...the penny clearly dropped with him when he was injured...he cleaned up his attitude, stopped moaning about playing on the right and now he looks a player. Ossy too...not my favourite player, but a great servant who has never moaned about being stuck on the wing.

Am sick of agents and players who think they are better than what they are.

I don't think Moyes would overlook a written contract being presented to one of his players

Really not arsed, i think he was decent and he'l grow into a very good player, he had a knack for scoring important goals, but if he goes, he goes, not worried and next time he turns up at Goodison playing for the barcodes i'll still give him a round of applause

his agent is david hogdson played for the [Poor language removed] in the 80s hes been advising him all allong enough said

Obviously we don't want him to leave, esp for free.

But lets face it if he is the only one out of the doors this summer I don't think there will be that many people complaining!
 
I'm not 100% convinced Everton are totally to blame here and a careful consideration of Contract Law needs to be taken. It may well be that the PL have shafted Everton here - putting the ever powerful player first (it's not as if Gosling was in some sort of open dispute with Everton). Surely a verbal contract is still a contract - or have the PL rewritten Contract Law altogether (although I do admit that it's sloppy that the two parties did not insist on a written acknowledgement of said offer).
