Im in the process of doing a budget, going through my bank statements and in the last month i spent £363 on food. Definitely need to cut that down!

Bloody hell. That's got to include eating out? I'm currently spending £30-£40 a week but that's just from the supermarket, I never eat out or even buy sandwiches out. That probably doesn't sound like a lot to most people but it's twice what I'd used to spend. On the bright side I've managed to get my diet quite good so that I don't need to buy protein.

I hate out 3 times last month so probably knock £60 off that total. But yeah, i really need to cut down my spend in the supermarkets. Hope that makes you feel a bit better!

I live on salads and veg,all greens and reds.

i haven't eaten carbs since 2011!

I'm going to start taking salads in for lunch actually. The trouble is I'm a bit fussy with some veg. Was planning on doing one with lettuce, cucumber, celery, feta cheese and just oil and vinegar. Sounds a bit bland to say the least though.

Yeah it does a bit! Ha. You must be putting away some serious amounts of meat surely?

I'm quite lucky in a sense that I live near a what you migh call ' meat factory shop ' .... Basically the abbatoir/ chicken factory is also open to the public so I can can buy meat much cheaper than supermarket price, 24 chicken breasts cost me 20 pound..... Also, in tesco I buy 3 packs of extra lean mince for a tenner.... I get home and split it into portions ( usually ten) and then freeze it ..... Mince is handy and tasty for all kinds of things .

you should buy your chicken from the wholesalers if you guys are buying that much

Was actually thinking of that today funnily enough.

Just got in my car to go the gym and realised that both of my main beam headlights are out. FFS. Just got to make sure I remember to sort it tomorrow or I'll be a bit stuck.

Dead ashamed reading the healthy meals you lot are eating. I had a lemon muffin, crisps and a millionaire shortbread for lunch, washed down with an m&s belgian choc milkshake.

I'm playing 5 aside in half hour but I feel like an animal.

could you not just sellotape a couple of chicken breasts over the headlights ??

might not improve visibility but it's certainly the healthy option
