My back was hurting really really bad for the last week and a bit, and I couldn't run, or go anywhere for that matter. Rested up so fine now though.
Couldn't go today cuz of uni work, but still did a bit of exercise around the house as usual.

My 'diet' did go to poop for a day - I made pizza cuz I experimented with a recipe and, well, it was good. I regained it instantly on the next day though - more exercise and less fatty thingies.

Also bought some tuna and peanut butter from Aldi (had a weird craving for the PB the other day, still not gone it seems...).

Strongman events training went well yesterday. My second ever go at Yolk and feel quite happy with the 225Kg for 20meters a couple of times which felt pretty good, also timed a 200kg farmers walk for 20m at just over 14 seconds, and then managed to shift a 120kg atlas stone on to platform at the first time of asking :hayee:

That'll do me for my third session!

Chest and triceps tonight at the gym, going for a volume session with a 80% 1rm to get the blood flowing through.

Bench me Spence, you're my newest hero x

So in officially goosed.

Saw a osteopath and I'm having spine injections, cement? til I get my old mans hip replaced

Enjoy your working bodies lads, I'll be bionic over here.

Weighed myself for the first time in years last Monday and I was at my heaviest of 16stone and it shocked me like. Started a Juice+ diet the following day and I've lost 4 pounds as of right now. Could have possibly lost more but Saturday is my Chippy day and I'm not dropping it as it's the only day where I eat anything that isn't currently liquid form or weight watchers.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 1 day of the weekend are my gym days, whilst at home I'll try and do 30 minutes per night on the exercise bike.

Joined a new gym, exercise 4 less. No pool but I screwed them down on price to 9.99 per month and 2 free months on a 12 month contract.

Loads of free weights so I'm happy, plus quite a few tidy birds were in this morning. Winner.

Joined E4L myself in Belle Vale right after Christmas. Never have to wait to get on what I want and the price is laughing. Spot on like.

I just in and I'm knackered.... I jogged to footy training, about a ten minute slow jog , as a warm up.... Trained for an hour , another team I know we're training straight after us and they offered me a game so I trained with them too for another hour.... Just jogged home aswell..... I am officially beasted for today.

The program on BBC 2 right now is about placebos and their effect on the body. One woman needed cement in one of her vertebrae but was given a placebo instead (she entered the trail but thought she was getting the real deal). Couldn't walk before, now fit as a fiddle. Crazy stuff.

After Christmas I had to change something in my life as I was approaching 17 stone. So I joined the gym & been going after work for a half hour run (around 5k each time) 3 times a week. I made a few other sacrifices like stopping the sugar I used to have in my tea/coffee and I've managed to loose a stone so far.
I'm well happy with results up to now but don't half miss a chippy tea haha.
