We all do it though so don't beat yourself up over it. Just gotta figure out what your short term and long term goals actually are.... try not to set the bar too high lad.
Why do think you lost the motivation? Maybe it was the 4-6 sessions a week.... too much?? Could be wearing you down and burning you out.
Stress in the rest of your life can easily impact your training. Suspect that's more likely to be the case than over training.
