That's pretty much spot onNo idea if it's correct and probably well risky if you're lifting heavy stuff, but I found having a loose grip helped a lot with this. Like resting the bar on your hands rather than properly gripping it. MADDISON HELLO/
You might have a flexibility issue, but it could be you're not sufficiently upright when executing the lift. Do you ever feel like your muscling up he weight and fighting not to fall forward? A perfect front squat should have the bar resting on your clavicles, and if your form is perfect there's very little (if any) stress on your wrists.
