That is brilliant mate!
Missed the game!!! Brother went but got locked out and listened in the Royal Oak to radio commentary. Mademoiselle Allezlesbleus number two had just been born a few days earlier so listened in a darkened room myself. Even now I can hear the pandemonium break out at Horne's equaliser just as they went back to Goodison having gone for an update to another ground. Commentator at Goodison could not hear that he was back live !!!!!

I was in the Paddock...as soon as the whistle went the 3 sides of Goodison steamed on. If you watch footage of the game, you can see John Fashanu counting the Wimbledon players back into the tunnel area to make sure they got in safely lol

I was in bed with flu that day listening to it on Radio Merseyside - the echo reported how the red lot had cake and party celebrations ready if we were relegated!

For the Coventry game, one of there suppoter's clubs had got a load of shirts made with a take on the "One to One" logo saying saying "Gone to One" , great banter that.

No i meant it was one of the Liverpool supporters clubs that made them shirts, not Coventry, in reply to the parties they had planned for the Wimbledon game.

I know what you mean about Coventry, when they beat us Boxing day under Walter Smith was a real low point!!
