When he came out at the end to do 'I'll See You in my Dreams' it was probably the most emotional i've been at a gig - That song helped me a lot just after my dad passed away in 2020

Tell me about it! My Dad passed away in April. When he sang that I was a wreck. Its the 6th time I've seen him. I've never experienced such emotion at a gig. Very special.

OMD at Liverpool museum a few years ago was class
They are brilliant live. Only about 500 there. I bought VIP tickets, they put on a free bar for VIPs and had one of the original Eric's DJs do a set.

I've seen bands I adore, but my favourite was a low key acoustic set by Beth Orton. A girlfriend took me and I felt like a total imposter because the audience had such an appreciation of her music and she had such rapport with them.
I think that separation, me from the audience and my appreciation of artist and fan enjoying the moment is what stands out for me.

Tangerine Dream at Liverpool cathedral in the mid 70s was very atmospheric. Hawkwind at the Stadium in 73 was also special as it was my first.

Hawkwind at the stadium was my first gig too, the days when I had long luscious locks, aaahh memories
