Lets round that 96 up to 100.
How many 100s can be simultaneously famous for one given day in the UK
65,000,000 ÷ 100 = 650,000.
So in any one 15 mins of simultaneous fame in the UK, 6,500 will be famous at one time?

And you're one in 6,500? that's not fame that's nearly anonymity.

I stress yet again that maths is not my strong point, but this whole fame deal is on shaky ground.

Maths is definitely not your strong point. For a start, you can't just work out 96 then round it up to 100 and expect a correct answer.

Also, your maths doesn't do anything to prove that numerous people can be famous similtaneously.

The question to be asked is "how many people need to know/recognise you for you to be considered famous?". If the answer to that question is 95 then everyone in the world could have their 15 minutes of fame within the same day. Split the world in to groups of 96, then each person takes their 15 minute time slot to be famous and known by the other 95 people in their group. By the time the day is over, everyone has been just a little bit famous.

Personally I'm prefer a lifetime of anonymity so someone else is welcome to my 15 minutes.

I certainly don't think Warhol meant it in that way
Finally, my point about more than one person being famous simultaneously certainly wasn't meant to imply that everyone would be famous simultaneously and certainly not on the same day.

Fame should be reserved for those who get a vaccine for covid, cure cancer, crack cold fusion, make a tele transporter or time machine. Anything else is just attention seeking.

Fame is not about what reward you receive for it. You can be absolutely skint and not earn a single penny from your fame but still be known to millions of people. Serial killers can be famous but they don't earn a living from it.

Footballers do their job in front of thousands of fans every week and millions when it's on TV. Whether that like it or not, whether they are good footballers or not, they become well known and therefore famous.

Maybe I'm confusing the issue. You have a point, but I'm really thinking if fame as in the type that the media and the chattering classes see as fame. A family of women with big arses or trout face simpletons who have paralyzing poisons or fat injected into their face in order to get noticed - AND IT WORKS!

We are a strange, strange species.

I mentioned the 15 mins of fame and then thought is it possible...(No)
You mentioned simultaneous first, I was just strolling down whimsy lane with the concept
