Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania

I know Gareth gets a lot of abuse, some of it unwarranted, but I'll genuinely laugh if he has the cojones to pick Gallagher for the next match. You can understand a manager having his systems and tactics - even if you don't like them and they seem inappropriate - but I'll never understand what he sees in that over-active crab. He's just such a nothing player, all Duracell bunny, bad haircut, and no output. Basically, a fully-charged battery that doesn't work.
I get the distinct impression you don't rate the lad.

Croatia - Italy is one of the more appetising matches of this tournament, especially so as both are playing for survival.

Croatia's need is greater. Realistically, they have to win. A draw will guarantee Italian progress as the second-placed side, and they will play Switzerland in the last 16 if that's what happens.

A Croatian win gives them second spot - and a date with Switzerland - providing Albania do not beat Spain.

If Croatia win, Italy could still go through as one of the four third-placed sides. Let's say Croatia win 1-0 and Albania fail to beat Spain. That would put Croatia through and Italy into third spot in the third-placed teams league table. They would then be in line for a match with Portugal. Obviously, four more groups have to finish, but an Italian defeat may not be terminal for their chances.

Whole country begging him to change team, to change midfield, crying for some winger, and what he do, again playing same fecking team and of course Holy Trinity (Modric, Brozovic, Kovacic) in midfield.
Modric almost 40, Brozovic playing recreatively in Saudi Arabia and Kovacic zero end product.

Midfield that usually was our greatest strength became our greatest liability holding whole team hostage.
