Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

As usual this argument doesn't take into account that the top teams in Spain are a good few levels above the top teams in England, especially when it comes to attacking.

Isn't the success in Europe overall of teams from the top to the middle of the Spanish league in comparison to the English league somewhat indicative of a strength in depth of a league?

That Madrid, Atleti or Barça with some of the players in the world batter Granada or other teams does not, as some people seem to think, prove that the same Granada team would not be able to get results against a good number of Prem League teams.

Too much of these arguments are laden with bias and not thought through. Then again, this is football, so thats the norm.

The tonkings are almost always by those three clubs, but at the same time those three are greatly outperforming the top english teams in Europe so you should also expect comparatively better results against lower teams in their league, no? To say there are no surprise wins or draws is not true. I'm a season ticket holder at Camp Nou and have seen a few and watch the majority of the games over each weekend. I wouldnt watch half as much if it was as weak as some seem to think.

Although, and I'd just be guessing here, I do think there is still more upsets in the Prem League. One argument to explain that would be a smaller gap in general tactics and technique from top to bottom.

It's not an argument that can be decided one way or the other as you wont be seeing Barça in the Prem League or Man City in La Liga.....but the argument could def be a bit more informed.

You should go to Espanyol home matches. Much more unpredictable, as shown by the Eibar 3-3 match last week. You pretty much know that Barca will win each week. Granada are 66/1 today on Betfair. Insane.

ive been. better atmosphere most of the time, thats for sure. unfortunately the quality of the games i saw were pretty poor the few times I went. Last one was a 0-0 with Atleti...two seasons ago I think....god awful game. The stadium is great.

I enjoy watching the likes of Messi, Busquets and Iniesta live. It's another level completely. But I would enjoy going to that stadium whether they are great or crap, whether theres Messi or not...the same as with Everton.

Wasn't helped a great deal by the perfectly executed Ronnie (Rosenthal) by KDB at 1-0 - nor will the absence of Kun help after that player's equally brilliant Dirk on David Luiz.

Pep G reminds me of Van Gaal in that he is very stubborn and will never, ever change the way he plays - even if it means he loses his job.

He is an oddball as well. Can see why Ibrahimovich and a few others refuse to play for him.
