Pep will find it pretty tough going here imo. I remember Barca at their peak playing AC Milan in the CL and Milan sat in front of the box and invited them to come at them. With no space to work it through the middle they couldn't do anything worthwhile except keep possession, he had no plan b.

In Spain and Germany he had teams that were light years ahead of 95% of the rest. Its not like that here and everyone will sit in to frustrate them.

Already we have seen two fan boys in Bobby and Brenda do their best Pep tribute acts and fail.

I'm intrigued at how he will do here,he might not be dominant as he was in Spain and germany but he'll deffo influence people in the English game with his meticulous outlook on the game and his legendary training methods.

While English football is going through a crisis at the moment in the national game,with Pep coming here could be the best thing right now.

Some really good manager's right now in the EPL,Pep Mourinho Koeman Klopp Conte Ranieri and Puel,all foreign and all have different outlooks methods and philosophies on the game.Let's hope they're inspiring a new generation of young English footballers and up and coming coaches/managers that will improve our game tactically and technically so we can stop being a joke at international tournaments.

It was like a 'sermon on the mount ' gathering. Embarrassing that City and their fans are becoming a bit like the rs.

I'm hoping all 3 uber,super duper, fantasmagorical managers cancel each other out and someone else sneaks past their preening about how wonderful they are and wins the league.

I'd have won the Spanish league with his Barcelona side. Same with his Bayern side.

Don't think he'll win the league this season as, unlike Spain or Germany, there are actually more than two clubs that could win the league here.

Agree 100%. City are no way near as good as the Bayern team he took over but I am sure he will improve them greatly.

The league looks like it could be utterly mad again this year, so while I don't expect them to win the league, I don't think he'll be found out tactically

Stranger things have happened. Having a settled team with a couple of additions will make a huge difference.next season.

i don't know if he will be "found out" or not.

But one thing is certain.

He will not get the easy ride with City that he was accustomed to at Barcelona and Bayern.

The EPL might lack the quality of La Liga but the potential banana skins for the top teams are much more plentiful.
