Yeah that's fine mate. It's good to see Everton payers get recognised I agree. It would be even better if it was merited because it means he would have put in half decent performances against Huddersfield and West Ham..

Don't get me wrong, he was excellent in the second half against Fulham scoring 2 very good goals. He was also influential against Arsenal, particularly in the first half. But anyone happy with his input into the two other games in September are the ones in denial here.

Sigurdsson is not our problem. He is a quality player playing for a mid table club. Forget the stupid fee we paid, just accept him for what he is, one of our better players.

He is a good player who was bought for a ridiculous transfer fee, but, that was hardly his fault.

How he's managed to score and create goals semi consistently since he's joined given some of the dirge around him is astonishing.

If we can get a couple more quality pieces around him and consistently firing he will be an utter star.

Good for you. I don't agree, but if he keeps up his form of the last 2 games then he should be in the frame next month too. Lets hope so.

Nominated for Premier player of the month for September. Obviously the judges never saw the games against Huddersfield and West Ham. Reckon he's been chosen because he scored 3 goals in the month which is typical poor journalism IMO.

Anyway, let's hope he can keep up the much better form we saw against Arsenal and Fulham. If he puts in more performances like that nobody on here will be moaning about him.

FFS I'm not knocking him for getting nominated. I only said I'm surprised given that he's on a shortlist of 6 from the whole premier league and that out of 4 games during the month he was distinctly average at best in 2 of them. He didn't even win our own player of the month on GOT, in what was, let's be honest, a very poor month.
