It sounds a little rooney esq but allow him to pivot and pass rather than move if that makes sense? That's if we have a player in front of him to make the movements.

Yeah what about if he plays deeper, we could have e.g. Lookman ahead of him and Gana. A pivote like Pirlo (except much worse).

The fee is a example of some of our fans having a very small time mentality, big clubs pay big money for the targets they really want, but for us its a major issue, fee means nothing this day and age. Lets be honest we have a long history of getting far too much for players ourselves

Think it's a bit more than that. There are individuals on this forum that don't understand that an attacking midfielder doesn't have to possess the ball most of the match to be good. They would HATE Dele Ali, too.

Not gonna lie, I havnt a clue what he actually is. I like him, he is clearly a talented footballer, but he is almost like the only player in the world who doesnt have an obvious position.

He's an attacking midfielder. This isn't rocket science. Scores a ton and plays a killer pass in the final third. He absolutely has a position. Such a strange perspective.
