Let’s see Siguardsson surrounded by better players before he is written off totally. Richarlison, Walcott, Bernard will provide us with something we desperately lacked last season...pace and movement. If Siguardsson can’t influence games surrounded by these types of players as opposed to bolasie, DCL and Rooney then he should be sold, but let’s give him a chance first.

He can't play CM. Doesn't have the composure, ability to keep hold of the ball, or ask for it.

If we've signed Bernard and he's gonna play Richarlison, Tosun, Walcott in front...he'll need two sitting players as there will be no protection for the back 4.

And those 2 players won't be Siggurdson imo

Siguardsson has already been told by silva that he is going to be played centrally this season, and that is from Siguardsson himself. Not one was more disappointed by me in his performances last year, but let’s face it did any player play to their best in what was a disjointed and chaotic season.

Not sure if discussed in other threads but with Bernard being able to play as a nr 10 you think Gylfi could play as a nr 8 in less difficult games ? Might get more oit of him

He's not pacey or technically gifted enough to be a dedicated attacker. Him sticking around the half line and playing connector seems the best bet.
