You know who else used to look at stats on an excel spreadsheet to decide which players were any good? Ronald Koeman. How well that went.

Not true , bolasie has had crap stats his entire career and koeman still bought him. Pretty sure koeman went off golf handicaps to indentify targets tbh

Rest against Millwall, should of had one at Southampton bench, rest call it what you like, will need him for bigger games later in the season, needs a break

The most technically gifted footballer we've had in a long time.

He will never live up to his inflated fee, and folks will harp on it forever.

Rom never lived up to his fee either until it was time to sell.

The Moyes era of clinging onto players that outperformed their fees was great when we didn't have any money.

We aren't that club anymore, and we haven't been for a while.

Crushing expectations because money isn't healthy for fans or players.

You'd think in the money swamp that a player like DCL would be defended to the hilt. Nope.

It's all very souring. FYI the players feel the sour...anyone who has played competitive sport in front of an audience knows that the crowd is a massive influence.

We’ve had loads of more technically gifted players recently. Baines for a start was way more in his prime, Bernard from the current squad also. I’d say Barry, Pienaar, Arteta and Saha were more technically gifted too. Agree with everything else you posted.

American tap water is gank. But some are happy to pay for it.
