That pass he done for the goal......that's where he should be demanding the ball about 30 times a match because the position he plays in he should be knitting the two together
He was bloody awful yesterday, never goes looking or demanding of the ball so he isn't demanding of himself or others around him.
He's just a passenger for 90% of the game and we simply can't afford it.
The formation we play needs to be binned off asap because it simply doesn't work with what we have at our disposal.

For me he’s to slow, so when he’s deep he can’t get up the pitch quick enough
And when we have DCL or tosun up front it forces Richarlison to far back.
The midfield is the big problem, I’m not a fan of Gana as everyone will probably know, not sure what’s happened to Gomes. No pre-season? 4 games in 9 day over Christmas? Or are we seeing the player he really is, a good but not top class midfielder.
I’ve always said 3 midfielders would be the best system. The midfield is your heartbeat of the team and we just don’t dominate any opposition, even lower league.
I’ve said this fir a while now, not a knee jerk reaction. But I would sell Gana in this window and siggurdsson in the summer. Potentially we could get 50mil. And then go out and buy some quality midfielders.

Yes, we know. He's crap. He needs to be louder. And stop actually doing things like setting up or scoring half our goals. Or playing really hard on defense. Actually getting shots on goal.

I know what you are suggesting, but it's pretty much absurd. He moves all over the place. He motions for the ball constantly. You can't possibly blame him for him not getting the ball any more than Richarlison or our strikers.
You and I have very different opinions then mate if what is expected from a player. You see a player looking for the ball, I see a player too slow to drop deep and get it and then too slow to support the attack.
I don't think it's absurd at all as you put it but hey ho, it's all about opinions

He has 2 tackles and 2 interceptions. Wish the rest of the team was playing that hard on defense.
He had 2 shots, one on goals. Set up our goal. Was way above his career norms in pass% as he hardly misplaced a pass all day. Had a fantastic set piece delivery at one point.
Not sure who played better.

Others on here have nailed it, 90% of the time he’s a passenger in this team, on paper his stats look good but he just doesn’t influence the game at all.
