No he doesnt. He jogs around on the periphery all game and his stats look boss. In reality, he does sod all.

Some of us having been saying it since he signed.

Sigurdsson easily my favourite player, but he needs to be dropped for a few matches. He's not controlling the game like he should be, and whilst you can blame the players around him (i.e the last 30 seconds against Millwall) for movement, he should be doing better in keeping the ball.

Go back to the traditional 4-4-2 is what I say. Of course, we'd need to sign 2 strikers to do so...

Not sure who is showing for the ball less Gylfi or Gomes at the moment. I was watching Gomes and he was showing but not really showing for the ball if that makes sense, jogging in the general direction but with no real authority of wanting it and taking responsibility. Sounds like all 11 actually.

That won’t work very well seeing as he can’t take them.

When Gomes gets the ball he's usually outnumbered and his passing options are a (very) wide left winger, a (very) wide right winger, wherever Gueye finds himself (never a good choice of recipient), a CF and a #10 playing as a second CF.

We need to get our players closer to each other on the pitch.

I think Siggi is shocking, slow, uninterested; i struggle to see his value. Scored and missed penos; nothing from free kicks; an utter waste of £45 million and no resale value

If we had a Tim Cahill style number 10, willing and able to get in the box, we'd be doing a lot better.
But we have Iceland's slowest moving object who is incapable of out running a glacier.

are you suggesting a true 4-4-2 (with, I assume, Siggy & Gana as two central mids) or a 4-4-1-1 (with Siggy behind the striker)?

He should of been played deeper a lot more in a 3 our shape is so much better with the xtra man in midfield
