Lukaku - absolutely dreadful, United a shambles, Solskjaer drops him for Rashford and suddenly they have a mobile, intelligent striker and play themselves into form with goals coming from all over the place.

Funny that.

Man Utd before Lukaku. 6th.
They sign Lukaku. 2nd with him scoring 27 goals.

Funny that.

The wheels come off under Mourinho, but the point being you said Lukaku negatively impacts Everton and his overall negative influence negated his goals. You dismissed his influence in goals by blaming him for the wider team - as you are with Sigurdsson.

We've not seen the team improve without him have we?

Still would've been 7th without his goals

Tosun isn't good enough, but the idea was right and remains right. Solskjaer has binned Lukaku off for good reason. Similarly, if we aim to compete for European places, the likes of Sigurdsson - unless you build an entire team around his strengths - has no place in the side.

He wouldn't get a game at any of the top six.

He'd get closer than most of our starting 11 being the point.

I'm sure Sigurdsson, as a playmaker would agree with you that Tosun isn't good enough...
 

Did any one watch the UTD game today. Lukaku was for the most part anonymous in a good free flowing UTD team against a poor Fulham team. One or two good touches, that's all.
 

Most boring playmaker aka number 10 I have ever seen. Does nothing except scoring spectacular goals once in a while.
