I like Gylfi, but, I,live in Spain these days. My best mate is from Valencia and I watch a lot of their games. Gomes was absolutely brilliant for them, the pressure of playing for Barca overwhelmed him for the past 2 years, but, if he can rediscover the Valencia form he is everything Siggy is and more.

Could be key this... Sigurdsson needs to step up his game, he needs to start running the midfield and making himself undroppable... otherwise he might find his game time reducing when Gomes is fit.
I suppose that depends how you judge a player. Siggy isn't worth his fee, but, he's a good player. Gomes is a significant upgrade on Siggy, if Marco can rebuild his confidence
