I forgot your penchant for cripplingly slow midfielders. One of the small blessings of recent Everton is that Siggurdson and grandad Barry could never be in the same one paced midfield together.
You're just so dour in relation to everyone bar your favourites.
Sig' was excellent on Saturday. Anything to the alternative is a statement of agenda.
It doesn't mean he's proven you can't have grumblings with him generally with respect to his career here thus far. It just means you're being a big lunatic when evaluating Saturday. You lunatic.

Unless a slow player is technically good then they cannot thrive in the premier league. Osman and Pienaar were examples of players who were so nimble and had such good touch and balance that a lack of pace wasn’t always a problem, still though when a top side is playing it round you if you haven’t got the legs you can’t get it back. We always seem to carry a very slow player normally in the spine of the team. Against the top sides it gets found out. You don’t see top sides carrying slow players, sometimes maybe one if they are exceptional playmakers like Pirlo was in his older age. You definitely don’t see them carry more than one.

My friend, what on earth are you rabbiting on about now?
I know you love to move the goal posts but this is one step further- now chatting about general football rather than concede the point re: Sig's performance on Saturday.
Take a day and come back, back to your best and able to stay coherent for a couple of posts at least ;)

Mate, you've had an agenda since we signed him. Fine, whatever. I agree entirely he was utter tripe for a good two months.

From November onwards he was good. Excellent in flashes, but not enough.

He played very well on Saturday, hopefully he keeps that up.

wrong

I’ve never liked him at Swansea or Spurs, all the reasons that came to light last season.

So rather than agenda I’d like to call it an understanding of overrated players

Very good player. If another 5 or so clubs had paid that fee nobody would say anything. But lil ol' Everton. How dare they. Let's crawl back in our holes and sing the praises of Sandro, Klassen and other crap players.

Any of the Siggy haters that cannot admit that he had a class performance at the weekend are churlish beyond belief.
Unfortunately for the haters , he will have a really good season , surrounded with pacier players , but also playing in his correct position.
He has been hindered in the past by playing out of position , and selflessly working back. His workrate is phenomenal.
He is one of ours , so get a grip , and get off his back.
