Sorry but you are wasting your time on here protecting him ,if had scored a hat trick last night he would have still done something wrong . Played out of position most of the season ,joint top scorer last year beggars belief .He was unlucky slotting through some great balls last night but obviously it wasn't seen by the haters. Can't wait until the new players come in and they start on them -because we all know it will happen!

MLS honestly makes a lot of sense. Players with way less of a track record than him have been top level in that league and they pay decent money. If he was interested I can see it. Otherwise it is tough.

There are a lot of things we could have done other than give Gylfi 100 league appearances for the club and I find it hard to believe any of them would have left us worse off.
