You people are stuck in 2008, plucky little Everton floating round your head.

I dont even want Iceland that much, sure hes a wonderful player, but hes not somebody I would be upset to miss out on.

But the gaffer wants him, Swansea have told us the price, pay it and move on.

£50million can get you a better player than Sigurdsson.

Klaassen is NOT a 10. He has played there and can play there but he's happiest and best as a Tom Davies style box-box goalscoring 8, which is just as well as Tom will be playing RB until Seamus is back if the whispers are true. Sigurdsson/Rooney could be trying to occupy the same space though.

Tom at right back? Didn't go too well the last time with Koeman giving him the hook after 45mins as far as I can remember.

He's far more influential on games..... Ross lets 99% of games pass him by with no impact on them at all.
That's a ridiculous post mate. Even if he played 50 games a season that's 1 game every 2 years he affects.

I think most people would agree he had, at best, an average season last time out, although picking up significantly after Xmas. Well GOTs own post match polls had him MON 8 times last season (beaten only by Rom) and he was in the top 3 another 10 times. That's probably close to two thirds of the games he started.

True. But it's more about Barkley than about Sigurdsson. For a guy who apparently goes missing all the time, still managed to get us in a good league position.

Yet Sigurdsson is worth £50mill for taking freekicks.
He is so much more than a free kick specialist. You're treating him like Seb Larsson. That's lazy.

Who gave Barkley the credit for us finishing 7th. If he hadn't gone missing in so many games we might of got 4th
