They lad hadn't played for months when we first signed him and now he's being played out of position by a manager who can't seem to get anything right at the moment.

He will come good eventually, that's if the abusive fans don't force him out first like they did Stones.

Expected to play over on the left all the time and it's doing him no favours. Doesn't excuse his poor performances but the manager is wasting his ability and he should be given a spell on the bench so that we can play with proper width and get some form back. Then i'd ease him back in to the side with a run of 30 mins in a few matches and only if it's in his proper position.

Needs to be taken off the direct freekicks too. Can't even get them on target at the moment.

Uh, that's how they play. They are one touch, quick ballplaying midfielders. That's what Koeman wanted - they are the antithesis of Barkley. It's not Siggy giving the ball away.

But surely they should know when it's right to do that and when not to? They're experienced and expensive players.

As for Sigurdsson not giving the ball away, he barely touches the ball to do that.

I know left midfield isn't his favourite position but we can't afford to be building our team around him when he's hardly contributing.

Put him on the left and tell him to stay wide, support Baines and get some balls into the box.

This lad was one the best players in the premiership last year ..... not his fault there usually 2 or 3 players trying to play in the same place as him !

He really wasn’t, that’s the issue. All these stats prove how useless they are when it comes to actually playing the game. He never imposed himself on any game at all, I remember watching Swansea against Burnley (IIRC), at Swansea in a relegation dog fight. A game you’d expect someone with far more quality than any other player on that pitch during the game to boss and control the tempo. He hid, hardly touched the ball, didn’t want to get into it at all.

He’s a deadball specialist at best. Wait until the derby, he may actually cry with the intensity of the game

Cuz he's never been in a high-intensity game in his life?

I understand what you're poorly attempting to say here - stats don't say it all - but it's not like they say nothing. He's not shown his best, definitely, but who has?

Has Rooney shone? Has absolutely anyone from our team?

Even if he plays in his best position...he's a coward of a footballer. That's his problem.

Haven't watched much of him until he joined us or at least haven't taken much notice of him, but if you are the key player in keeping a crap team from relegation, surely it suggests the opposite?

I don't see much point in over-analyzing the new players/young players too much at the moment as it is a complete mess.

Is that photo supposed to prove anything. Because I’m really sure that the atmosphere, speed and intensity of that game is anything like a Merseyside Derby

Rooney as score 4 in 9 and is always looking for the ball, the same as Davies, Vlasic and bit part appearances by Kev and Lookman. Just trying something a bit different to change the focus of a game.

He’s hid, literally shone away from anything. No going looking for the ball, no picking it up and trying to run with it, no deep runs to pull defenders out of position. Should stood there and waited for a deadball playing the easy pass.

Like I said, he’s a coward that cost the best part of £45m
