Good player is Thor. Some loose passes but his ball retention in tight areas is great. Works his arse off too. Like him

He's set piece delivery is amazing. He had literally one bad delivery and it was from 50 yards out. The difference between us and literally every team we face in terms of threatening goal EVEN WITH that delivery is embarrassing.

He's one of the players who does have quality. I've seen it on rare occasions for us and plenty of times for Swansea. The problem very much is the players around him at the moment are absolutely average at best.

Today we had five defenders plus Schneiderlin and Davies on the pitch at the start. What is there for him to play off there? He hasn't even willing runners from full back.

But without a striker that can hold the ball, without a left back even at the level of JonJoe where he can get forward and can defend a little bit in space, it's hard to expect much more from him.

People on here are basically asking him to beat 2/3 men and start taking the game by the scruff of the neck. He's obviously never been that type of player and desperately needs other footballers on his level around him. We just don't have them right now.
