He's not going to skin 3 players and put one on a plate for the striker. He needs to play centrally with intelligent players around him that understand pass and move. It's really not a lot to ask.

Stick him in that Liverpool side instead of the guff that is Oxlade-Chamberlain and he'd be absolutely flying.

He'd literally need to fly mate to keep up with that RS attack.

you are 100% right.
give him a free role with Davis and Gana behind him and he will do much better.

I don't think he would. Davies and Gueye struggle to keep the ball and the rest of our attackers aren't the same wavelength either, with the exception of Walcott.

Most of our passing was woeful yesterday, Watford weren't much better but they changed tactics and introduced a second attacker this gave them more options going forward. This didn't weaken their defence as Everton don't try to score we just want a nil nil.
If we are going to retain the ball in the final third we need some options, we need to commit some players. I would rather lose trying to win than this slow death Alderdyce is serving up.
Play Glyffy centrally with two in front of him and try and win a game.

He looks to me like a striker who doesn't have the legs to play up front.

As Walter would say, 'disappointing.'
To me he looks exactly like a number 10 playing outwide. This business of square pegs and round holes is one of the main reasons for us being awful this season. Davies at 10, Rooney (a player we brought in as a striker) playing CM, Martina at left back and Allardyce as Everton manager.

I'd be more than happy to give him a run there. I'm just a bit alarmed at his lack of finesse.
