We have the players to make this system works but not the manager with the vision to do so.

The player to sacrifice in this setup is Rooney. Gana and Davies will do the dirty work in order to bring balance to this system.

Let the winger roam high and wide with lots of room and freedom to operate and stretch teams to defend out of shape.

Sorry to question your mathematical skills but 45mill - 15mill(his true value) = we overspent by 30mill

It makes people feel better. The entire season has been:
lose - X player is gash, SELL.
Win - X player is ok* they just need time or a better system

*Apart from Martina who could score 10 and make every single pass and tackle and people would still give him dogs.

We don't really encourage or support. We seem to be in a clamour to outdo each other by finding more elaborate and hyperbolic ways of slating our own players.

Yep, he's definitely one of our better players

Yesterday was one of his worst games, so many poor touches, a shame it coincided with Walcott and Ganas off game as well.

Yet not a patch on Barkley.

Barkley: 5 goals and 8 assists for us last year, he was playing 2.5 passes a game that lead to a shot, touching the ball 50 times a game (retaining it 85%) and dribbling 3+ times a game.

Siggy has scored 4 and created 3, is playing 1.5 passes that lead to shots, touching the ball 25 times (at 75%) and averaging 0.7 dribbles a game.

He also cost £45m and is 4 years older.

Still confuses me why some are adamant on here that he's being played out of position on the left and that's why we don't see the best out of him, yet we had some Swansea fans tell us he always played mainly out on the left for them, and he was boss.

It's the fact he has no pace you can't have him and Rooney in the middle. Need to buy someone with an engine that can run around, nearly every good team in the African cup of nations has one, shouldn't be too hard to find

I could play 2.5 passes a match that lead to a shot when you have Mirallas and Lukaku next to you.

exactly mate. That's a balance team with width and pace. A pacy left back is needed tho.
