Actually think he's been badly missed, been one of our best players this season after a dopey start, due to no pre season. Rooney has looked a shadow of himself without Sigurdsson to do his leg work. Not saying you exactly, but I think a lot of our fans blame Sigurdsson for the size of his transfer fee and hold that against him. It's not Sigurdsson's fault for the fee it's Evertons.

I think most blame him for not being the playmaker he was built up to be regardless of the fee, massive downgrade from what we had last season at a massive cost

Just like most of our other signings, not a crap player, just badly underperformed for us. I mean he's had a brilliant goals and assist record for Swansea for a good few years now, netted than Coutinho for example ,who was raved about. But hasn't produced that here, just like the 35 goals of Sandro and Klaassen have returned absolutely nothing as well.

Just a typical thing that happens to us really, but we'll go again in the summer and thankfully in this league we'd only need one to really come off and we'd probably be looking near the top 4.

Love you Gylfi, don't listen to all the nasty men. Play him in his actual position and get a few people round him that aren't totally incompetent and he'll be sound.

Take it your talking about Ross, two totally different players, although both players are playmakers, I think Sigurdsson has a lot of qualities that Ross hasn't and vice versa. Would have loved to have saw them in the same midfield. Alas never happen.
