Has Baines ever scored a free kick at Goodison ?
 
We will see the best of Sigurdsson next season. He was just coming into his own before his injury. Most important factor will be getting the manager choice right.

..stats can mean anything. I just watch the positions he takes up on a football pitch, the ground he covers to repeatedly get beyond the CF and I trust him to make a clinical pass or finish when he’s in there. You can safely pass all day in areas that don’t matter where it doesn’t hurt the opposition.

I like him and feel he’s one of the few who will transition to a new regime.

That is a fair point. If I filter by performances in the centre he still only has a maximum of 39 touches in one game, and as low as 22.

In his 39 pass game he averaged 66% accuracy.
 

I reckon that Tosun, Gilfi and Walcott have to start.

If you throw in Gueye too, then there are only two other forward spots up for grabs: an attacking midfielder who can help Tosun
and another goal-scoring midfielder.

A new left-back and maybe - not essential - another central defender.

But it’s not just about passing. It’s about being caught on the ball and giving it away like that as well. Wonder what the stats are about being tackled, I can remember rooney being caught on the ball a lot. Don’t remember much of Gylfi but that’s cause I was always focused on being annoyed at rooney.
