Coleman wasn’t in great form prior to his injury and he’s not looked great since coming back either. Hopefully he gets back to his old level next season.
The thing is he won’t, because he can’t.

Dolberg wasnt as succesful as DCL last season mate and in a lower standard.
Football levels havent dropped off a cliff mate. You just expect too high a standard from pkayers 21 and younger. Simple as.
DCL is among the best around in his age group. Doesnt mean he will become world class or prolific. But that doesnt change where he is right now.

He was great before his injury. Our season fell apart after it.

Depends how far back you’re talking, he hadn’t been in great form in the few months prior to his injury. He’s not been properly boss since Martinezs first season tbh. Still easily one of our best players mind you but not at the level he was in 13/14 back when he was being linked to United and Bayern. His stock has without question fallen since then.

Seamus Coleman is one of the best performers we have, week in week out.
Walcott is vastly better.
One has spent his entire career in the top 4 and playing in the CL.
The other has had two years at Spurs and the rest at Reading and Swansea.
Rooney managed 11 goals after spending half the season playing deeper than him.
Will never understand why he is so rated by so many.
The only difference between this season and last for him was he didn't take the penalties. The general lack of involvement is his normal game.

too many nailed their colours to the mast before they played, so many said siggy was an improvement on barkley, the same people were probably the ones who thought we were too good for walcott, when theo came in and looked like he had a superior football education to our entire squad it was awkward for them to admit it, look at how much e got slaughtered for a slight drop in form, Theo is probably our best player right now and without doubt our best signing last season

Gylfi will succeed if Lookman happens to be what we saw at RB and Walcott continues his early success. It all depends on how clinical and effective the runners are around them. He was too easy to mark out last season because we had nobody that looked dangerous in the midfield until Theo came in

I dont think he was that far off his 13/14 form mate. Didnt get as many goals maybe but was still in great form IMO.
He was probably amongst top 2/3 RBs in the league before his injury.
Gylfi, Coleman, Walcott, Pickford and Gana.
