Oh yeah, cos none of that is important is it? lol

You are actually having a mare here as said previously. I still love you though.

I’m battling strong mate, I’ve battered everyone out the park. So let’s get to why it’s not important:
1) he played for Swansea on the left hand side of the front 3. He wasn’t asked to play right back, he was played in attacking role - that’s that myth debunked
2) he’s a professional athlete, he still had a preseason with Swansea and whilst it may have affected his first couple of games he would have been match for in a matter of weeks - myth debunked

So, again I ask, what did he do?

pipe down numpty

He also showed character and instructed all around him what to do when he took over captains armband :-) His good lad and will be involved more for us next season :-)

I'd guess that the post 1966 England team was slightly better relatively to the current team. Secondly you've tried to turn squad into team. Barclay isn't in the squad of an average England bunch.

This argument has turned into who gets picked for the international teams because nobody can show anything to prove Gylfi has performed better for Everton than Barkley

I’m glad he runs around a lot though

Nah, what you are actually doing here is trying to pick your arguments, completely dismissing the fact he had zero pre season as not important or that he missed the last 6 games.

Also ignoring the fact he came into a side in complete shambles and still got 6 goals in 33 appearances, the same amount of goals Ross got in 39 appearances the season before, in a side who were actually doing well.

So in answer to your pointless question - He did the same as Ross did the previous season in less games, there is your answer.

One is a proven professional carrying the flag for his country in the World Cup, the other a jumped up rat yet you prefer the latter for some reason.

Bizarre.

As I said, he's the star player in a team which comfortably beat England under 2 years ago, and just drew with Argentina. Barkley can't even get in the squad. That's a pretty significant indicator.

So he did nothing, had one decent game against Swansea and was not missed when he got injured. Most talented players tend to have a positive impact when introduced to a team

That sums it up
