How much would Gerrard go for these days? How much would you have paid for him?
504 PL apps, 120 goals & 71 assists across 17 PL seasons. 32 penalty goals.
That's 26.6%. Gerrard averaged 7 goals per PL season with penalties.
Without penalties Gerrard averaged 29.5 matches per season, 5 goals & 4 assists.
Sigurdsson at his worst scored 4 goals & created 4 assists in 27 matches.
It would've been 10+ goals if he took penalties, and easily 10+ assists if DCL weren't at the end of those chances.
£45 million for a prime Gerrard in today's market would be a bargain. Imagine a slower/weaker Gerrard with better crossing, passing and of course with a left foot.
Now lets call out @nsno-chris, @sageyefc, @mikeh72, @Connor & whoever else is silly enough to not rate him.
Name a single player throughout history that is more both footed than Sigurdsson?
Go ahead, I dare you. You wont because you cant. And even if you miraculously did, add set pieces too. There has never been a player like him before.
Combine his both footed passing, crossing & shooting inside & outside the box and there isn't a single player that comes close.
Then add his defending, variety of roles & positions, longevity, work rate, vision & intelligence.
Imagine if Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Neymar, Salah or anybody else were able do this with their weak foot?
He outperformed £144 million Coutinho in every PL season while at Swansea, how is £45 million too much?
Connor you were ''screaming'' over me using stats from 6 years ago, yet you'll probably use Coutinho's first half of last season as an excuse for his pricetag.
So what was Sigurdsson worth at 22 years old when he did the exact same thing except marginally more impressive?

Naturally @nsno-chris, @sageyefc, @mikeh72 & @Connor will refuse to acknowledge any of this, and their subsequent silence is them admitting defeat.
Seriously, stop comparing him to Gerrard. Two different style of players.
Plus, I've yet to see Siggy drag and lead his team to victory in a cup final.
