2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

He’ll be getting loaned out for like 4 months why are people losing their minds
Because they are all high level football coaches with years of top flight experience who see the player in training everyday and know how best to develop him. Oh no, that’s actually David Moyes, the guy who made the decision to loan him out. My bad.

Always fun when you see this shout wheeled out because it automatically disqualifies you from ever disagreeing with any decision anyone involved in football makes again.

You can’t recall loan players outside of transfer windows.
In that case it's a no from me. Maybe start of next season for him but we are paper thin.

Not too bothered about panic buying in this window thanks to our three wins on the bounce. Makes more sense to keep Armstrong as cover.

Probably means Alcaraz is a done deal. This makes sense. We are bringing in an extra body and Armstrong moves further down the pecking order. When McNeil comes back he won't likely see a minute. If Moyes planned on using him it would have been this weekend when we Gangnam styled on Leicester's backline.

Always think it’s better to send players to places where they are accustomed to wining and dominating games and keeping the ball, you know build up good habits like Branthwaite

If he is allowed to go on loan, then surely there has to be another signing on top of alcaraz...we will be soon running out of goalkeepers to put on the bench.

…..you said he ‘needs games’, i wouldn’t assume that a lad who has just turned 18 will will get plenty of games in the Championship.

Exactly mate I've no qualms about him going to Derby at all because it will mean or should do that he will get games and develop. What I don't want is for Everton to give them an option to buy him, because I definitely think there is a player there, for me he could well be one for the future here.

…of course he could, which is why it’s a huge risk sending him to manager who’s only concern is winning points and not player development. He won’t be allowed to make mistakes, he won’t be training every day with our coaches and international teammates. He’s just turned 18, he lives at home so he has that upheaval too.

It could work out but I’d much prefer him to be looked after at this stage.
