100% this. Problem is Moyes is anti-youth. He should have given him some game time against Leicester but didn't. He could have used him in the Cup game and kept bringing him off the bench in the Premier League. Even Dyche did that. Packing him off to Derby with a manager that doesn't play decent football seems a strange one to me.…of course he could, which is why it’s a huge risk sending him to manager who’s only concern is winning points and not player development. He won’t be allowed to make mistakes, he won’t be training every day with our coaches and international teammates. He’s just turned 18, he lives at home so he has that upheaval too.
It could work out but I’d much prefer him to be looked after at this stage.
