Lighten up. I didn't recall it. So when I said I didn't recall it I was completely right. If I'd said no one thought he would amount to anything then I would be wrong. But I didn't say that. So you one fan being right about one player on one occasion means fans are better judges than managers. Ok then.

If you want to make an argument about a particular player then make a coherent argument about the player concerned, don't just say the decision about that player is right because the experts say so. It's just a lazy argument.

If I had a pound for every time I have heard clueless fans say that about youth players. Professional managers and coaches (especially good ones like Moyes) will get these decisions correct the vast majority of the time. Not every time, but the vast majority of the time. We're still in a relegation battle and league position wins us money. It's not a Sunday league where everyone gets a game of they turn up. If Moyes thought he could contribute he would keep him. He doesn't so he hasn't. I would back his judgement over anyone on here.

He isn't going to develop much coming on at the 85th minute of games so going out on loan at his age sounds like a good idea.

Lazy What would such an argument look like? I’ve barely seen the kid play as have most on here. He looked out of his depth a few times but played well against a League 1 team. There’s absolutely no reason to believe the coaches are making a mistake. It’s tin foil hat territory. Lazy

Correct, but it’s even more littered with incorrect calls by arm chair fans.

100% this. Problem is Moyes is anti-youth. He should have given him some game time against Leicester but didn't. He could have used him in the Cup game and kept bringing him off the bench in the Premier League. Even Dyche did that. Packing him off to Derby with a manager that doesn't play decent football seems a strange one to me.

Are you a Zat multi? Every manager is anti youth because the vast majority of youth team players are pants. Moyes played Rooney at the first opportunity and also gave Vaughan, Anichebe and Barkley significant minutes because he felt they were ready. Please give me the list of youth team players that Moyes held back while he was here or at West Ham that went on to bigger and better things. There must be a pretty strong list to make such a bold claim. You remind me of the bloke in that video having a pop at Harry Redknapp.

Giving him 10 minutes at the end of a match that is over won't help. Iroebugnam needs those minutes to get fit anyway.

He's far better off, hopefully, getting real playing time with Derby.

Contract a statement of intent. We now have Gana, Garner, Tim, Doucs and hopefully the new Argentinian all in CM so better he goes out for now and wins a starting spot at a Championship club.

Great move for him any player his age hoping to be getting premier league minutes regular by the time they’re 20/21 needs competitive game time unless they’re exceptional. Championship is a great league to be getting them at his age and hopefully plenty of development with them.
