2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

Good club Derby.
He will grow up there.
He has all the signs of being a cracking player.
Very quite off the pitch as well I believe so no problems on that score.

Cant say ive watched them this season but read a few comments tonight from their fans saying the ball will be flying over his head due to the terrible manager and style of play. Looked at some stats and they're right down the bottom of the table for possession of the ball so they might have a point. Doesnt seem he's going to a footballing side.

They are down at the bottom he will learn a lot about himself and how he copes
If we don't get anyone in its a stupid move by us.

I’ve watched the odd game and they’ve been shocking. This reminds me of another loan move Moyes did when he shipped Barkley off to Warnock’s Sheffield United. Least it’s only for half a season.

It’s a tricky decision in lots of ways . He’d likely be welcomed at a top 6 Championship club as a valuable bench asset but not get much game time, at Derby you’d expect him to be seen as a player who will play regularly , but he’s going to have to fight and scrap. I think he’ll like that aspect , he’s picked up a few yellows and a red in his short career so far. The worry is that Derby change their manager and tactics and he gets frozen out. Sometimes you just have to trust that the club have made the right decision. We know teams were interested, Thelwell and his team would have discussed options with Armstrong so he is clearly up for it and Moyes would have had the final say and likely believes that with two midfielders coming back from injury his game time this season would be limited. Good luck to him, I’ll now follow Derby yes’s results with interest.

Harrison has got everything. Great touch, vision, can head a ball. Down to earth lad who is focussed on his career. Not scared of a tackle either and has pace. Covers the ground so quickly. Throws markers for fun and plays with his head up. Excellent link up play and did i mention that he can finish too. I m his Mum by the way!
